I have enjoyed Macanudo ascots for 19 years but was intriqued by the lower cost of these alternatives so tried them. After trying 10 or so mixed with the real thing I have come to the conclusion as an alternative, okay, as a knockoff, you will be dissapointed.
First of all, the alternative is not quite as large, making them more of a cigarello. I was able to fit 11 alternatives in my Macanudo tin of 10. Secondly, the filler is a harsher smoke and smokes faster, perhaps due to the smaller size.
I was hoping to save a significant amount of money but since I can afford the real ones I will not purchase these again.
I hope this is posted and helps you in your decision making.

I must say having purchased the Partagas Alternatives and finding them to be an excellent mild but full flavoured smoke, I expected the Macanudo Alternatives to be a more peppery blend as is with the real Ascots.
However I have found them to be very mild and an easy draw. I do think they are a fantastic smoke and they burn beautifully.
But I am now partial to the Partagas having a bit more body and great flavour.
Mind you I will still mix and match as I find them both to be a really good everyday cigar with the enjoyment factor to match.

All the flavored Rollers Select cigars I have gotten from The Cigar Hut have been well produced & full of flavor and for the most part fresh. For the price they do a good job!!!!!!!

I am retired and on Soc Sec and must watch my budget. These cigars were very affordable. They taste good and draw pretty good. I only have two minor complaints, they don\'t seem to burn evenly and I have trouble getting the darn band off without damaging the cigar. These minor things aside. a very enjoyable smoke. I will be ordering more.

My husband said these are a great cigar for the money. Because Wolf Brothers are no longer around, he had to find something to take their place. He says they are packed well and burn fine.

Even though these are small they are a mild emotive cigar, worth every penny. You can\'t lose if your looking for the great feeling of a cigar when having little time.

Fair cigar, too sweet for my taste, too moist (76%), had to remove from their wrappers and remove humidifier from humidor for two weeks to make them smokeable.

Nice taste, mild with very nice flavor. I have not had one problem with quality. Have not found any too tight and no cracks or holes either.
I could hardly wait for my order and I did not have long to wait. Now I smoke more and I enjoyed smoking every cigar so far. Good cigar at a good price. Keep them value priced Cigar Hut and you have me for life.

I am a novice who likes an occasional cigar to share with friends, having the opportunity to sample the nice variety of choices
offered by Cigar Hut allows me to indulge and find a prefer choice at a minimum expense given the fantastic deals available. The site very informative and the inventory amazing as well easy to navigate.

Huge bang for the buck. An hour worth of mild to medium taste. Burns a light grey, but is packed loosely. The ash tends to fall at inopportune time. Overall, slight variance from one to another, but consistently good.

These aren\'t a bad little smoke but they are just about done after 5-6 good puffs. Very mild even burning mini cigar. I kinda like the bigger petit corona size of this cigar a bit more.

Excellent cigarillo, I used to smoke "Wolf Bros - Rum Crookettes"..........but since Wolf Bros went out of production (for now at least) I decided to try these cigarillos and I`m glad I did!
I highly recommend this product and will definately purchase more in the future, thank you!

I've given these out for both of my daughters. Most people don't smoke cigars any more but the ones that do give these great compliment. Sure beats bubble gum!

I bought this bundle as an alternative for a box of Macanudo Baron de Rothschild (natural wrapper).
And that's exactly how they are advertised, as alternatives for Rothschilds.
Which is fine by me, because in this instance, "The Cigar Hut" is being
entirely truthful, a very good thing in this day and age!!!
Negatives:
1. the construction is not as good as a Macanudo Rothschid or a Don Tomas #200, both of which I prefer as a late afternoon smoke on the weekends when a guy can really relax, but no surprise there!
2. and I found them to have a decent favor but again, not as good as a Macanudo or a Don Tomas
Positives:
1. the price for 20 cigars is excellent, especially for 100% tobacco cigars
2. the consistency of construction and draw is good
3. all-in-all, they are, for me, a really decent mild-to-medium choice of an everyday cigar for my 40-45 minute ride home in the afternoon

Just ordered my second box in two years. Why, because I'm having another daughter! Great box and great cigars. My cigar friends loved and others thought it was very cool. Apparently it is old fashioned to give out cigars, but my dad did when I was born and I still have the box. I thought it would be great to do for my kids and you can't find a better deal and quality cigar, I've checked!

I am in no way a connoisseur of Cigars but these I feel are incredibly pleasant for not just the smoker but those around the smoker (should they be smokers) my own partner enjoys the smell of each one.
Value for money is incredible, well packaged and as soon as funds allow I will be purchasing another 100. Thank you for a great service from start to finish.
